It all begins in 1995, when drummer Shawn Crahan, vocalist Anders Colsefini, bassist Paul Gray, and guitarists Donnie Steele and Quan "Meld" Nong-all inhabitants of the city of Des Moines, Iowa, came together to undertake their first steps into the world of music.
In September 1995 he created the band The Pale Ones, with Crahan on drums, vocals Colsefini, Gray Steele on bass and guitar. Joey Jordison joined the band shortly after occupying the post of battery.
